Hey guys, when I was washing my car the other day, I noticed that I have a couple of very fine scratches in the paint. I'm kind of unsure how to proceed because I tried using some scratch-x with a microfiber towel and it didn't help, I'm not completely sure that I applied it correctly though. One scratch can't be felt with my finger nail, while the other just barely can. This is my first black car, so any help is appreciated.

Re: Micro-scratches in black
2.0 will be better in general, but try to use it similar to the video along your scratches. Just be carefull to work with your palm and across your fingers, dont work with your finger tips.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Micro-scratches in black
I tried the 2.0 out today using the recommended methods and it definitely came out better this time. However, after I was done it looks like there are now other tiny scratches from when I wiped off the product. I've been using a foam applicator and a micro-fiber towel to wipe off. Should I be doing it differently?

I would step back to a milder product now, like SwirlX.
If we find the paint is super soft, we may need to go even milder like a cleaner/wax.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Micro-scratches in black
Hopefully your paint isnt super soft, and just using a milder product now and then wax will solve it.
Some swirl when you look at them, and are obvioulsy harder to work with.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
