    Re: Using 205 only

Never have tried #26 before. Only wax I've used on my truck has been NXT. I wanted to get some 16 from ADS but they were sold out before I got the chance to place an order. Would the containers on ebay be safe to buy?

I wouldn't even want to tell you or any one else to buy any #16 from e-bay, I was thinking about trying to get me a couple more tins but just don't want to take that chance on getting any to use.

But as far has the #26 goes, Go get you some paste if you have a auto discount around that carries it or to auto zone and try the liquid. Both have great results no difference but I just love to use the paste!

Apply two thin coats on and tell me your thoughts. ( YOUR GOING TO LOVE IT TOO)

I'll check to see if the ACE store has some as I've seen it there before. Mine as well try something new and different.

I think M20 Polymer Sealant would look good on your truck as well. Something to consider....

M205 is not as strong as SwirlX.

I'd be willing to bet that all the M16 tins on ADS came from the eBay seller that many of us have used (karenedwards2000 or something like that).

I'll try some #26 and see how it works. I've always just went with NXT or goldclass since I have tons of it. Any input on the new gold class wax?

Well I got too distracted in the store to remember to grab some #26, but did manage to snag all this for $60 and I've got a $5 rebate to send on one of the new soaps: Very good day lol

                    You my friend are obsessed

I used to do the same thing at auto zone for natural shine.

And everytime I say a dollar store or a big lots I would pull in and go check for brushes or anything that said meguiars! LOL

Where/what outlet did you get the wide body brush?

Big Lots lol I was there 3 nights ago and went back today and they had just put it out. ($10) Have the check there about weekly to see what else they put out. The soaps are from advanced and they have $5 off rebates on them. I wish I would of had him ring up the soaps separate so I could have used both. The Crazy Crazy/Meguiar's key chain I got off ebay.

Nice stash Andrew! The Multi-Piece and Quik Wheel products are some of my favorite. Very safe and versatile, and it doesn't burn your lungs in the process.

It seems like my collection grows everyday but when spring rolls around, I'll be ready The tub in the background of the pictures is completely filled but and I've got the edge surrounded with bottles lol I just tried the Ultimate Protectant and it works great but time will tell on how long it holds up. I think it's a bit expensive for the bottle size, but if it last longer than the M40 I normally use I may switch.

                            Andrew,

As Mark mentioned it really depends on the condition of the paint. M205 is a great product and I find it easy to use with stunning results.

Another Meguiar's product that I like is Meguiar's #86 Solo Cut & Polish Cream. This is a great one step polish that produces swirl-free results.

                            Defect Removal
                            1. Set rotary speed to 1800-2000 RPM. Choose the Wool Light Cutting Pad or Foam Polishing Pad, depending on the severity of paint imperfections. Mist dry pads with Meguiar’s Final Inspection.
                            2. Apply Meguiar’s Solo Cut & Polish Cream #86 directly to the paint and work in a 2 x 2 sq. ft. area and Keep the polisher moving at all times.
                            3. Check work frequently. When the defects are gone, stop polishing and lift the polisher off the paint.
                            4. Buff with a soft, clean Microfiber Detailing Cloth.

                            Final Polishing

                            1. Set rotary to 1400-1800 RPM. Choose the Solo Diamond Foam Polishing Pad or Diamond Foam Finishing Pad. Prime dry pads with Meguiar’s Final Inspection.
                            5. Apply your favorite paint protection, such as Meguiar’s #26 HI-Tech Paste Car Wax or Meguiar’s #21 Synthetic Sealant 2.0.

M86 is a fantastic product - often over looked, but definitely worthy of being tested!
