I think i might have gone a little overboard with the QW. Next time i think i need to do the QW first then go back with the QD.

I know I'm posting late to this thread but, I think I've got the same problem or one very similar. I have a black car, used UQD between waxes then bought bottle of QD. Used QD in garage (no sun) ambient temp around 90, so paint is approximately that temp. Used light spray, clean MF towel to wipe dry then another clean on same panel immediately to make sure panel was completely dry. Car looked great in shade, but backed out of garage into sun and the entire car looked like I had not completely dried. It left a haze that will not wipe off. What I mean is the haze appears to wipe clean, but in 5 minutes is back. Tried multiple clean microfiber towels, no luck, washed car after sun was down, still had haze after drying, although not as much.

I've had this too. Very interesting. I think it's hard to dry every bit of retailer so then some dries as residue on paint? My only guess

          Any ideas?

It's very simple situation here, as I had the same issue in the past.

If you applied QD on the surface which hasn't been clayed, polished and waxed you'll get the above symptoms for sure.

On a waxed/polished surface MF glides with QD.

          Simple as that.
