Yeah, boy, those were the days. Now we have over think and obsess about even the tiniest of minutia, and beat it to death.

That said, I just ordered a thirty buck tin of P21S!

So, you (a detailing moron, just like me) might be willing to spend $30 on the chance that it might produce a slightly better result as your LSP. But, in all honesty, would you tell your end-consumer nextdoor neighbor to switch to that (and just that)? More likely most end-consumers want an All-In-One "wax" to use, one that is reasonably priced and easy to use, and produces good results (to their eyes). Sounds like the definition of GC or ColorX or NXT to me.

So, for most folks, it becomes "Do as I say, not as I do". I tell neighbors to use ColorX, but I use clay+swirlX+M07+NXT+#26. If they are really interested, then I start explaining the options (next step is clay+ColorX, then on to full detailing).

I dont even try to convince the wife that what I do is reasonable, I just explain I enjoy doing it on a nice summer weekend morning and leave it at that. Might make for an interesting POLL question: Do you tell neighbors to do the same process+products that you personally use?

Woman next door "washes" her Accord with a long handled brush thingy attached to the hose. It's downright painful to watch...

I have tried to tell my neighbors why and what I use. All they do is laugh and say that I am going to wear the paint off. Funny thing is, they want me to do their cars like I have mine, but when I tell them it will take, they decide that they do not want it. As far as my wife, she is trying to find a program for detailaholics.
