    There is no MUST. You do not need to apply UQD at all, if you don't want to. But after applying your one or two coats of NXT, you probably should wait 12 hours to allow the polymers to fully crosslink before wiping the surface down with UQD. This is not a hard-and-fast rule. If you need to apply the UQD before then (perhaps, e.g., to remove streaks), then go ahead; but on the basis of what I have read here on MOL, it's probably best to allow NXT to cure 12 hours before touching the surface again.
