Is there any way to restore the black trim on the right side? Trim is plastic and it's been there probably for nearly a year now but never had the urge to fix it until i found this site

I agree with the All Season Dressing. Very good product. It last a long while. Never tried the Gpld Class Trim Detailer.quality creates its own demandComment

Meguiar's will be releasing anew trim detailer. It will be announced next week. You might want to wait for this new product to hit the stores.Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.

Since it's smooth, personally I'd try Ultimate Compound. Check this out. This was from my uncle's Explorer, and I used UC to fix it.

What you're seeing is pretty much "oxidized plastic". You need to remove that oxidation in order for it to stay shiny; covering it with a dressing is more or less a temporary fix. But, keep in mind that not every type of plastic will take to the same "fix"; but since your plastic is smooth, I would go ahead and try Ultimate Compound.Shane
