Colin did a nice job on that truck. Hopefully you can appreciate that he chimed in and offered advice and some photos to show you the look of Hyperdressing on interior plastics.

The pedals arent always best to be cleaned sometimes either as even when clean they can become the slightest of slippery and you dont wan that.

Plus if its a work truck or daily driver then odds are they will be dirty again by the next day.

Oh, I know. IMO he did a fabulous job. Do you happen to know the link to that detail? I was just giving him a hard time, not trying to be a butt or anything. Gee Nick, chill out buddy! I know the pedals are one of the hardest parts of the interior to keep clean.

Don't think a regular wash could handle all that mud. Might have to bust out the pressure washer on that one. Looks like it needs an extreme makeover. Dirt and grime, meet Meguiar's!

Does hyperdressing have a greasy feel to it, if you use it on the steering wheel? At 2:1? 3:1? 4:1?

BTW nice pics. On that last truck you are going to need at LEAST a 3 pack of supreme shines!

Might be better off just using something like Quik Interior Detailer on the steering wheel.

Shane, sorry for not posting a reply sooner. On the '95, I was taking pictures and after shooting the interior I noticed the pedals were forgotten. I went back and wiped them off with some degreaser (no dressing) and took some more pictures. I didn't even realize I had posted the one with the dirty pedals. Oops!

I have to admit, you have a great eye!! I love it. Attention to detail is what sets a fantastic detailer apart from the rest.

Sorry Guys, Nick is right. I didn't do a writeup on it. It was in great shape before starting.

My Father-in-Law is the original owner. It has never been buffed out, just regularly washed and occasionally waxed. After 14 years, this was the condition of the paint-




Here's an after shot. Truck looked even better in person.

Funny enough, both are my Father-in-Law's trucks. Well, he has since given me the '86.

I'm truly amazed at the condition of his vehicles. Given his wash and wax process, there's no reason why his vehicles should be in the condition they are. I tell him whatever he's doing, keep doing it cause its working.

I wonder the same thing. I'm in need of one more. Years ago, the passenger side mat had upholstery glue spilled on it. The mat was unrecoverable. Luckily it did its job and saved the carpet. I've been searching for one since my Father-in-Law gave me the truck a year ago.

Well, I did a quickie on it. Nothing extensive or anything like that as I would have hoped to do. Just a quick cleanup on the interior, quick cleanup on the outside and a fast wax job. Didn't take any pics. He only had a couple hours for me to work on it, and he doesn't really have the money to pay me for a full detail right now. I was kinda bummed, but that's the way it goes sometimes. It wasn't the money that was the issue for me, I just wanted to be able to do the whole thing. He said when he gets the money, he would like me to do a full detail on it sometime. Bummer for now.
