  • pics of Hyper Dressing?

Does anybody happen to have pics of Hyper Dressing on interior plastics? Perhaps different colors of plastics and different gloss levels? I just made another order from ADS today. It consisted of:

    32 oz. sampler of D151
32 oz. sampler of Hyper Dressing
    spare Hyper Dressing bottle
    12 oz. dispenser bottle
    one gallon of ONR

I should receive my order by Friday. Also, any good tips on rinseless engine cleaning? I've read a few threads on this topic, but I would appreciate some more info. Thanks!

For the F350 I used it at 2:1. And 3:1 on the extreme golf cart.

Can I offer you some advice though?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with using Hyperdressing on the interior of a vechile. I have done it only a few times but I always end up going back to M40 and Natural Shine. The reason for that is since NS and M40 do have some cleaners in them that clean and condition vinyl and plastic. So even if you do pre clean with APC or APC Plus I always like to ensure it is clean by using M40.

Just a thought But it really is up to you.

As for engine cleaning, If you really have a dirty caked up engine then chances are you cannot get away with a rinseless wash type method.

This is the only engine that sticks out in my mind where I only had to wipe it down and dress it. Its a 2010 hevy Camaro

If you can get away with a rinseless engine cleaning then by all means go ahead, but they come few and far bewtween.

There is definitly some good information to read up on in here:

*New* Meguiar's D151 Paint Reconditioning Cream Review!!!

While D151 Paint Reconditioning Cream can be used by hand it is primarily for machine application ( D.A, rotary)

I prefer M66 Quick Detailer for machine application, and If I am working by hand I stick to ColorX or M20 Polymer Sealant.

Did you order this specifically for that 2005 F-150 your detailing?

Yeah, I'll probably use either D151 or UC for the F-150. I'll do a couple test spots and go from there. I'd also like to use the D151 on our two Accords as well, though. I don't know. We'll see. Providing the weather holds out (keeping my fingers crossed) I'm supposed to do the F-150 next Monday, so hopefully I will be able to do that and then I'll post a writeup. I don't have a machine though, so I want to be able to achieve the quickest results I can by hand. That's why I'll do the test spots, to see what does the best job in the shortest amount of time. It's got its fair share of swirls and scratches, and it's never been clayed, so I have my work cut out for me.

                  What are the customer's expectations?

Is he expecting a swirl and defect free finish?

No. He's 19, and this truck is both his daily driver and a work truck. He just wants some of the scratches and stuff out, and he wants a clay and wax since he doesn't really have time to do it himself.

Sounds fair, maybe give it a thorough washing, a good clay, spot clean with Ultimate Compound and SwirlX, and clean the paint with an AIO of your choice.

I really like M20 and ColorX when working by hand.

You will not be disappointed with hyperdressing. I absolutely love it, after I run out of this gallon I can guarantee you I will be buying more. It's just so versatile!

Colin did a nice job on that truck. Hopefully you can appreciate that he chimed in and offered advice and some photos to show you the look of Hyperdressing on interior plastics.

The pedals arent always best to be cleaned sometimes either as even when clean they can become the slightest of slippery and you dont wan that.

Plus if its a work truck or daily driver then odds are they will be dirty again by the next day.

This is one of several details where I have really gone in thorough detail with the pedals:

If your client is using his truck as a work truck then it will look like this if not worse:

                              Then transform it into this:
