Re: I've finally decided!!! BUT WHICH ONE?!
I have the ~$180 G110 kit from ADS...
I would recommend a Flex kit, since the Flex is a bit stronger than a normal DA.
I find that the G110 is only effective on new, soft Honda paint. Anything else, including '97 Ford, '07 Maserati, '03 Accord, and probably hard Mercedes ceramiclear coat...the G110 is useless IMO. And I doubt you're going to get much better results with the 7424. (Yes, I use KBPC, m105 & m205, w/ SB2.0 yellow PolPads on speed 5 & 6, often yielding 5% correction or less).

Have fun....
Decisions, decisions, decisions!
My car has no scratches or swirl marks, so I don't think I need the 105, and can #9 replace 205? They both have roughly the same cutting power.
And does the backing plate on a PC need to get replaced? How come some people order extra backing plates?!

So far, I am extremely happy with my G110 and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy their first DA.

Re: I've finally decided!!! BUT WHICH ONE?!
I have and use the Flex 3401 DA. A very nice machine although a bit more expensive than the Porter Cable, Megs, or Griot units but it's also a somewhat more powerful machine than those other units.

Yeah, it is a very good machine, though it doesn't seem too popular around here.
Though it is a powerful machine, you will likely have to use this machine at its full speed for defect removal.

Hi! thanks for the fast reply, I am buying a DA since I am still a beginner.
Is Porter Cable 7424XP good enough?

Re: I've finally decided!!! BUT WHICH ONE?!
For your Benz, you will probably want to get a package that comes with the more aggressive foam pads. To give you an idea how hard the ceramic clear coat on your car is, a LC white polishing pad is only good enough for wax application.
Also, are you buying a rotary or a Dual Action?
