Thats always a tough decision.

If they screwed up once, and it can be removed easily yourself, is it worth risking them screwing up more?

True, I've seen dealership screw up cars big time buffing and stuff. My local ford dealership wetsanded my bumper through the clearcoat...but it was before I bought it, and they gave me a good price, so i just upgraded the bumper to the cobra one and called it a day

Might have to take it to a professional detailer and let them take a swing at it.

they will only make things even worst, since it's not their car
for me, at least i know what to risk or what not to risk

RAIN-X on white cars to remove simple stains... works 99.9% of the time. sorry to bring this back from the dead.

I would follow Murr's suggestions. Without pics, a good paint cleaner should do the trick.
