This was caused by the APC? Or the stains still cannot be romved? Im sure help will be posted soon, And since this is your first post Welcome to MOL!

Not sure I exactly understand what your problem is. Hopefully others will chime in.

Sounds like the panels are discolored(stained). No amount of scrubbing will remove discoloration. Were the stains there before, or are you thinking the APC is what stained it? What APC were you using and at what dilution?

the stains were there and wont come off even when i try to clean it furthur it just fades the surrounding parts and the stain is still there. how can i avoid making the material not to fade and not to have a whitish surface appearance while removing stains? i used the meguiars all purpose cleaner 1 part:10 parts water

What about that Magic eraser from Mr. Clean? I know a few other MOLers have had a lot of help with them.

thanks for the idea. another thing is the horn button of the 2000 ford expedition became sticky after cleaning it with apc. whats wrong with it? too much cleaning that it softened the material? or it still needs more cleaning?

Steering wheels can get pretty nasty. Probably just needs a bit more scrubbing. If you look closely you should be able to see if there's still gunk left, that's probably what's sticky.

i tried to clean it again but its still sticky and parts of it are wearing off. i think the material is getting thin already.

Well, if you're sure it's actual material that you're rubbing off then yes definitely stop. Still not sure why it'd be sticky after cleaning though.
