Re: need some advice for a detail

The bale handle is great for polishing vertical surfaces, but I feel that the right angled handle of the PC is better suited for horizontal surfaces like the hood and roof - but I'm an older guy who likes to give my back as much of a break as possible. So I picked up a used PC several weeks ago and planned to use it as my 4" polisher for those smaller areas. I removed the handle from the PC and put it away, but your posts made me wonder if the PC right angle handle would thread onto the G110...

Sure enough. a perfect fit. I did a little checking on the web to see if replacement handles were available. (They are)

With $10 shipping, $18 for a handle does seem high, but here's the info anyway.

If you like the idea, you can order one from SERVICENET.

I have both the G100,G110. On neither one do I use the handle. Nick, it is more of personal preference. Good Luck today.

Well, if you only have two pads then there is not much you can do. Clean the pad after every panel and mentally designate a "half-way point" where you switch to your second pad. Typically a normal size vehicle would require three pads or so. In this case I'd clean on the fly after every panel and closely watch the surface after a few panels to insure you're still getting cut from the pad.

Sooner or later it will load up to the point you cannot effectively clean it anymore and you have to switch off.
