Distilled water mixed with 1/6 dilution of vinegar and 1/6 solution of isopropyl alcohol.

No way that smells better than Megs D-Line GC.


Never tried it, interesting though.

Meguairs D- line concentrate. You need something stronger then water to remove the junk on glass. But if your happy using straight water, go for it.

when it comes to heavy dirt or ciggy smoke etc.,I rub a little undiluted dish soap on the affected area,wipe off,then clean with glass cleaner.It removes the brown gunk really easily.
I hear some people use viegar,but i don't fancy the smell in my car.

For my cars the back windows get a lot of touches by my little ones hands and water just does not cut it. For the front ones water is fine

Get the little ones several pairs of those cute little mittens with the bunny ears and give them each a little spray bottle of water and tell them if they wash the windows they get a nickel for there piggy bank

Depending what you do in the car i guess you could just just use water and a clean cloth. I smoke so i need somthing with a little muscle to get rid of the film. Dont you just hate Back windows full stop though!!

I Rain-X the insides of my windows, so any subsequent cleanings only require a water dampened MF followed by a dry one to buff.
