    Re: Cleaning brown/red stained tires

I have BF Goodrich All Terrain tires on my truck and have found that APC doesn't always "do the trick" when it comes to getting the rubber clean, even at 10:1 dilution. As a result, I have resorted to using #40 which does an excellent job although it seems these tires really do like to show a little brown just inside the tread perimeter.

10:1 isn't that strong, just enough to do interior panels and such. 4:1 works much better for exterior such as tires and rims. I'm referring to APC+, just for the record.
