    Re: Hyper Dressing

I just did a weekly maintenance wash and touched-up my interior, engine bay, tires, wheel wells, and exterior black trim with ~3.5/1 HD and boy does it look outstanding! I really can't praise this stuff enough. I love its multiple dilution rates and the fact that it comes in bulk (I try to buy gallons of stuff from the detailer line w/e possible and I don't even run a business!).

The matted, natural "sheen" on all those surfaces is just wonderful. I accomplished everything I set out to do, which was find one outstanding liquid in bulk (gallon+ of course; I don't care too much for single spray bottles of anything that one buys @ the local auto store) that would satisfy my protectant/coating needs on all rubber, plastic and vinyl surfaces, interior and exterior.

    I love the stuff.

I love the stuff. It'll go a long way; and is more economical than buying spray bottles of different sprays.

I also like it in my interior @ 4:1 (after cleaning interior w/ APC 10:1). There isn't any UV protection in it, but I'm happy w/ the reasonably-natural-looking sheen.

And on the tires (after having cleaned them w/ 4:1 APC & brushing or Westley's Bleche White & brushing), I love the 4:1 HD. Great natural-looking sheen. Not matte, but it's just right.

Overall, I think I accomplished what I was after, which is a bulk dilutable liquid that I can use on my interiors, exterior trim, tires, and engine bay. For the tires, I use a curved foam tire app brush and spray onto brush and wipe brush onto tire.

Plus, with dilution rates ranging from 1:1 - 4:1 (adjustable sheen), you can't beat that. So far so good . Oh, and I think that its water-based makeup makes it safer for a lot of applications, and much less greasy, too.

Great summary of how you use it which doubles as a guide for others to follow and a pretty good testimony for all the positive attributes for Hyper-Dressing.

        Re: Hyper Dressing

Well I finally got a chance to try out some new stuff yesterday on my birthday! My parents asked what I wanted to do and I told them I wanted to spend time on my car all day

So far I have only tried the Hyper Dressing at the 4:1 dilution and want to try the 3:1 still. It was mentioned that this stuff is very economical since it is dilutable in so many ways and boy is that true! This will last me a long time which is great and just what I was looking for. Another thing great about this product on tires is no sling! It also is great for getting into every nook and cranny in the wheel that is hard sometimes with gel.

I also put it on my wheel wells and have read about people saying how it seems like it spreads itself out. From my experience this is true, my wheel wells are very hard to get to since I dont have much room to work on them without taking the wheel off so the ability of HD to evenly cover everything without extra work its great.

It also looked great on the trim. I did like the way it looked, however, I think I prefer the look of Gold Class trim detailer to the HD. I still havent had a chance to try out HD in my engine though (still need to work up the courage for it ) I also put some 26 on my car which looked great, but that is another subject

Overall I really loved this product, it is the best product i have used on wheels, and wheel wells! And to top it all off it smells amazing Meguiar's you hit another home run!

          BEDLINER!!!

The bedliner in my truck was extremely faded as it's been exposed to the elements for at least 10 years. A good misting of HD 3:1 brought it back to life. But of course, no pics. I'll try to take some later today....

            Re: Hyper Dressing

I was going to say the same thing! I used it at 1:1 for the first application, then if it stays clean, I touch up with 3:1 after a wash (I rarely wash the bed of the truck, just hose off when needed. Then again, I don't use the bed for much). Apply the HD liberally with a medium-to-fine mist from your sprayer (I use a pump-style sprayer), and just forget about it. All the pooling and drips will dry by evaporation. If you do get spots or blotches, follow up with a higher dilution. Here are some not so great pics:

Other than that, I use it on all my customers. Engine and Fender wells.

I tried it on my personal car a few days ago in a new way. I have flat gunmetal powder-coated wheels with polished lips, and powder-coated brake calipers. While trying to get some HD on the calipers and fancy rotors I got some spray on the wheels. Instead of trying to clean it up I just wiped it on the wheel spokes. It looked good! Here is a pic:
            before HD

after HD (and about 80 miles of cruise)
