Well, I am a perfectionist; so to me the last 10% is very important. I also agree with Mike's comments in that some paint is painfully hard and will not respond to a PC. I still think in your case it may be the pads, though the hard paint scenario is also quite likely.

Im starting to think my paint is super hard too, for example the scratches above the handle like mine but fewer took me 4 passes with #84 , 2 with #83 then 2 with #80 ...

and a few still remain, none of which could be caught on a finger nail. This classify as hard paint??? In your opinion would these be safe to completely remove?? Thx

Welp, while trying many diff combos ,pads, products, pressure, speeds, wetedge to dusting...I just did a area with #83 on a orange Sonus cutting pad @ speed 5 and working it till there was literally nothing left to wipe I finally got the pefect polish...NO MICRO ANYTHING!!!!!!! I dont understand it...could it just be my paint is so hard its not responding to anything less?? Thus the #83 on the orange pad is acting like #80 on a polishing pad?? Thx PS,thx guys for all your great and patient help
