Using the yellow foam applicator pads what is the best technique to apply ultimate compound and swirl X? Do you use a side to side or circular motion? Also how much do you apply at a time? A circle around the outside? An X? ect. If you have a video of you applying these two products or just one of them that would be awesome!

you want to work small areas, like the size of a microfiber. If your goal is to remove swirls, then either side to side or circular motions work fine, also work the product in for about a minute and then wipe off the residue with a clean microfiber and inspect your results. If you like what you see, do the next section, if not repeat with SwirlX again and if that dosent work then try UC.

I like to apply a small strip of product across the foam applicator pad, heres UC:

after you work a couple sections your pad will get saturated with product, When I use SwirlX i like to wipe excess product built up in the pad with a clean cotton towel. It works for me because I know I dont have too much product built up in the foam applicator pad.

is your goal to remove swirls or just looking for a good paint cleaner/polish?
