So, I got a foaming attachment to my Karcher power washer and got to try it out for the first time.

I wanted to write a bit about my experience because I know it has come up quite a few times, so now that I've tried it, I thought I'd chime in on the debate.
I'm not even sure where I stood on the issue before I got one, and I don't think it replaces the two-bucket method by any stretch, but I've gotta tell ya... I REALLY LIKED USING IT!
Okay, do I know it's better than without? No.
Did it feel like it added lubricity? Yes.
Do I know if it did? No.
Does it reduce the likelihood of instilling swirls/scracthes? Don't know.
But here is what I do know... boy did I ever feel cool using it and boy did my paint feel slicker than snot when I used it.
My combo for washing last night was... Detailers Pride High Foam Soap and Meg's Gold Class in a bucket (I still used the two bucket method). I gave the car a good foam and the foam just seemed to sit and sit and sit on the paint and hang around. By the time I got around to washing the entire car, there was still a lot of foam on the car.
It remained wet and well lubricated.
I'm not advocating that this is a "must have" item, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I thought it was quite a good addition to my arsenal. Just wanted to pass on my impressions.
BTW, the foam attachment was about $25. I found a youtube video of the same attachment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4gsM6718P8
