Yes, it's available again. I just placed my order. I was going to wait until payday so I could place a large order and get another free bag. I think I better get this while the getting is good. I still have a large order to place on pay day, could always use another bag.

So the 2.0 pads don't work with the original G110 backing plate??

They work. The original backing plate is the same diameter as the new WD68A (5.75"). I bought my G110 directly from Meguiars last Saturday at the Del Mar Nationals show, and they slapped one of the new 2.0 pads on the stock backing plate when I asked the same question, and even included a free pair of 2.0 pads with my package.

Just to clarify...

W64DA (original red DA plate) = 4.87" OD

W67DA (yellow DA plate that comes with G110) = 4.75" OD

W68DA (New all black DA plate) = 5.93" OD

The new W68DA is tailor made to enhance the buffing feel and finish results when used with Meguiar’s Soft Buff 2.0 Pads. It has a precisely tuned outer edge for ideal pad contouring over flat and curved surfaces. In additon, it is a long lasting, one-piece molded construction and centers perfectly when using the Soft Buff 2.0 Pads

With that said, could soemone use a W67DA or even a W64DA with the new 2.0 pads...The answer is yes.

Oops! I thought the guy at the show told me that the stock backing plate was 5.75". But he did demonstrate that the stock BP could work with the new 2.0 soft buff pads. Sorry for the mix-up

Well so much for my resolve to wait on this purchase.

I just placed the order with ADS for the backing plate and a clay bar replacement kit. Opted for a Black Finishing pad for the freebie.

I have no willpower...
