I made the mistake of estimating the cut of the new Ultimate Compound as being a light/fine cut compound/polish, as if it was an all-in-one prep/cleaner. Unfortunately I've found its actually a pretty aggressive cut and I've got a gloss black paint job that is showing a (very very light) haze from the compound.
(I'm using a DA for application)
So now I want to go over it with a polish to get the haze out and get it back to show-quality gloss, but I'm under a time constraint and limited to what I can find at my local store. I'm pretty sure they have the 'Deep Crystal' polish, along with possibly the 'Mirror Glaze #9 - Swirl Remover' cleaner/polish.
Which of those would be better for a polishing step, using a DA polisher? What other ones, that might be carried at a store, should I keep an eye out for instead?
I plan to apply either NXT2 or Gold Class for a final wax, not sure how they will work on top of the polish, any recommendations there either?
Thank you in advance!
