In most cases if you use a cutting pad with an orbital polisher it will tend to haze the paint.

Stick with a polishing pad or a polishing bonnet.

Look at this thread and let us know if you see a polisher that resembles the one you have.

Regardless of which specific style of polisher you have, the type you have is what we've labeled a "Traditional Orbital Buffer" and these don't have the power to remove swirls and scratches out of most clear coat paints.

You can however use it to clean any surface staining off using either Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner or ColorX, so buy one of them and give it a try.

Test on just a small section of your car's hood or deck-lid, work an area about 16" to 20" square or so.

Apply some product to the face of your bonnet, place the bonnet on the paint and then turn the machine on and work the product over a small section for about a minute or so, don't buff until you're buffing dry.

After you've buffed this section put the buffer off to the side and wipe the residue off and compare the paint where you worked to the paint surrounding this test section and see if there's a difference and post back here what you see.

If it doesn't work very well then I'll try Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner!
Skyline, ColorX is more aggressive than DCPC. If you are not getting the results you want from ColorX, you will need to use a more aggressive product. You will probably want to step up to a dual-action polisher and #80 and #83.

Use a yellow polishing pad with ColorX. Meguiar's has not approved the use of a cutting pad and D/A with any of its polishes.

Edit: I just realized you are using an orbital.

You can actually apply more force or cleaning power working by hand. Go the the Popular Tags Box and locate and click the word exert.

            See below...

            The Popular Tags Box

On the forum homepage in the right hand column there is a box titled, Popular Tags.

Sometimes you can find information on a hot or popular topic by looking for keywords in this box.

            Comes in real handy...

ColorX is more aggressive than DCPC...
So I do not really have to try DCPC..?
              what are #80 and #83...?

I think I am gonna try DCPC then ColorX, but not sure if I need ScratchX or not.
Maybe I can get a ScratchX for the future if DCPC&COLORX work fine?

Vector Orbital Polisher seems like my polisher..

              I think I am going to buy a G110
I was thinking if I use a polishing pad, do I still need a Bonnet to polish?
              And the answer is no...right?

              Here are what I read:
ColorX W-8006 polishing pad on around the 4.0 to 5.0 setting
              ScratchX better use hand
fficeffice" />Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner 4.0 to 5.0 with a W-8006 foam polishing pad
Bonnet on a W-8006 to remove Wax

              What I am gonna buy:
Meguiar's NXT Car Wash Soap 64 oz - wash my car
Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit - clay
Meguiar's Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner - polishing pad with speed 4-5
              ScratchX - maybe...?
              Meguiar's Color X - polishing pad with speed 3-4
Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 - Two Free 16" x 16" Microfiber Towels - finishing pad with speed 3
Ultimate Super Microfiber DA Polisher Bonnet 6 Pack - remove wax
              (or remove it by hand?)
              Meguiar's G110 - tooo expensive for meeeeeeee
Meguiar's NXT Speed Detailer - after everytime washing(Do I really need this one?)
