I'm trying to develop a system of day-to-day cleaning for my new Honda Civic EX's alloy wheels. So I wanted to ask for your advice. I plan on wiping down the wheels every day or 2 to prevent them from getting dirt caked on them. What should I use to wipe them off? I just used a little applicator today for a 1 time thing and I didn't even have to use a chemical, I could just wipe the dirt right off.
Do you recommend a microfiber or Terry towel or what? And then, once I've used this towel, how should I clean it? Is it safe to throw a towel full of wheel filth into the washing machine? Should I separate it from clothing?
In addition to the day-to-day stuff, when I actually wash the car, what tools and chemicals do you recommend using for the wheels and tires? I saw this Mothers tire/wheel brush pack thing online but I'd prefer if I could buy the stuff in a physical store so I don't have to pay big shipping fees.
Throw your tips my way please. Thanks!
