I have a 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, in Palladium Silver. It's a big darker than your traditional silver, or Mercedes other silver, Iridium Silver.
Anyway, sometimes, the hood and trunk lid, and sometimes even the doors, but more often the flat hood or trunk lid, in shady or flat light, it looks like blotches of hazy, or blotchiness.
It seems like *maybe* this happens after I using the Ultimate Quick Detailer. It doesn't seem to do it right when I wax. Here are the products I regularly use in order:
#7 - Show Car Glaze
NXT Generation 2 Tech Wax
and then the Ultimate Spray Dealer to maintain it.
Any of those products cause was I describe?
Finally, since the car is few months older figure I should add a cleaner before the polish in the future. What would you recommend? I want something to use by hand. Scratch X too harsh?
Also, I'd like to sometimes use a paste wax after the NXT Generation 2. Recommendation? Would like the Yellow Wax Paste be appropriate, or the Gold Class Paste, which is better?
Thanks so much!
