Re: Just have a quik question about removing swirls

I dont think it is recomended, but its quite new so people are still experimenting with it. It wasnt even for use by hand at first, then someone tried it and found how well it worked.

Re: Just have a quik question about removing swirls

KISS = Keep It Simple Simon

Here's a simple list for working by hand, most products can be found at your local auto parts store but the M105 will be at a PBE store.

Wash - NXT Car Wash (Good cleaning, lots of suds)
          Smooth Surface Clay Kit
M105 to remove swirls and scratches
NXT Tech Wax to protect and create a glossy clear finish

4 products that will tackle every paint system you come across.

Here's how to find a PBE store

How to locate Meguiar's Professional and Detailer products in your hometown

Of course you'll need some wax applicator pads and some microfiber polishing cloths. When you get a machine then start a new thread on product suggestions for machine application.

Wash I would use Meg Gold Class or NXT (both are available locally and priced right)

Clay I have had goos success with Meg smooth kit, awesome deal Walmart has em for $15 comes with clay, lube and a nice towel

I still think trying to get rid of swirls by hand will be a chore, why not look for a used PC I picked mine up brand new on one of the boards for $85

Seal with NXT 2.0 once again Walmart has it for a great deal

For a QD I like Ultimate Quick Detailer again Walmart has it

A few months back I used scratch X on my Accord just on the problem areas, hood and trunk, it did a good job. What I did was wash, use Smooth Clay kit, scratch X, washed, NXT 2.0, I use UQD 1-2x a week and after the car is driven in the rain, the car still looks good today.

If you are going to get a PC, then get the G110. It is a great tool. Plus if you have any questions about it, you can do a search and I am sure someone has asked already. You wont regret purchasing it.
