I have read a number of problem threads with Meguiars products, like (to paraphrase), "ScratchX ... a whole load of liquid came out first ... I wonder if it had been in the cold" or "NXT Tech Wax hazes ... I wonder if it was frozen in transport" or "#26 has gone all lumpy like it has curdled ... did it get too warm?" for example.
How should we store our products to protect our investment. I'm from the UK - we have decades of history of storing our car cleaning products in the garage where they will meet with a temperature range from -10 degC (say, 10 fahrenheit ... or colder in the more northerly climes) through to over 30 degC (in the 90s) and we pretty much forget about them until we come to use them. I don't have a garage, so I store mine at the top of our cellar which is cool and will go down to external temperatures in winter.
I have not had a problem with other products, but am I safe to keep my newly acquired Mirror Glaze range of polishes, waxes and sealants in that place? Also, is #16 okay in the same place? My other paste waxes have been fine there, so I reckon it will be okay.
