Sorry Meg's, Love yalls shampoos and dressings, but not yalls polishes

We have been working with BMW AG and BMW NA for years. We have several team members here at Meguiar's that only work with OEM plants, coatings etc... In fact, many of our products are approved and used in plants as well as written into BMW procedures for paint repair. We have also done many trainings for BMW all over the world at plants, VPC's, and even dealers. With that said, it is safe to say our products work great on BMW paint

BTW - BMW also uses powder technology...In 1996 we visited their #1 plant, and worked closely with them to ensure repairability of this new technology.

While you are correct in saying these coatings are sensitive, we have plenty of products that work wonderful for all the newer style of coatings.

Then I just lay my MF on and it absorbes all the water. Lay it again in the next area, and so on. If any water left anywhere, just pat dry. My 20 x 40 MF is only just damp when I finish and I have a big car.
Ya i think i will try to rinse off the soap without the sprayer. I also heard of people using a shop vac blower so i might see if that works.

Yes i use the TBM. The towels are clean i have even tried brand new ones and its the same. I am a very picky person when it comes to clean.

Ya i haven't really thought about that. It is out of warranty though. The car used to be taken to a car wash before i took on its care and it was BAD ask mike.

Certain Jet Black BMWs are indeed so soft that they can pick up marring even with the softer MFs. Mainly E90/92 series are "infected"; don't know about the X5, but there is a distant possibility.

I'm curious to find out what will work on this paint.
I've worked on a BMW before and the paint was on the soft side as well. I didn't notice any scratches when I was wiping down with the Meguiars mf towels. I used light pressure when wiping the polish/wax off and made sure the towel was folded in 2 halves so it is flat on the paint & not in a bunch. When I took delivery of the car I noticed several light scratches from car washes that supposedly were by hand.
Well, here are my first pictures I'm posting so hope this works out. Here's a car I did that turned out to be quite fun. for a 2006 this car's exterior was pretty bad. I'll let the pics do the talking. [/IMG] I'm not kidding about this next pic. This was on both sides of the engine bay where water is

I have the same problems with a 2003 Mustang Cobra.

After applying a coat of wax, it looks perfect again.

Use two buckets, good mits and very little pressure when drying.
