I was experimenting the other day and got a little pan scourer/sponge (cut the scourer off) and found its great for applying trim detailer (just the right size for my trim) but coz it has right angles its a doddle to do as well.
    Have found best to leave in garage if possible overnight to allow it to absorb/dry....then if rains do not get the streaks.
