It depends on the product really. The DA will yield better and quicker results, but you don't have to use it.

The DCS is what first got me going on Meguiar's! .

Me too!! I thought I was tough stuff doing all three steps by hand! I remember when my dad would come home from work after I detailed it and would ask me if I did the '3 step' on it! haha, gosh that brings back good memories.

He still does that when Im home from school.

i;ve been using DC3 this past summer on my 1998 black camaro z28 and have had mixed results, first time i did all three i turned out great, second time i got some haze after applying dc2, perhaps the sunlight was to intense , but this happened again in the fall.

i was wondering if i should do DC1, DC2 and then NXT 2 instead of DC 3,

any ideas for preventing this haze?

i apply by hand btw

and finally whats the advantage of going for the "professional" line?

For starters, you shouldn't work on the car in the sun. The only haze I can think of from a pure polish would be that it wasn't completely removed.
