3 Step Deep Crystal System Questions?

Well like the topic states, I have used the deep crystal system last summer and was wondering if anybody else used it. I like the results but now i'm wondering if i could get a better result if I would use a ordital or just stay with a DA.

i used it yesterday and i think it is better to stay with DA. I didn't try it with orbital but i think DA is more powerful and you can get better results IMO

DA will yield way better results than an orbital by far. By hand, the Deep Crystal System is great. The DCS is what first got me going on Meguiar's! If you have a DA, replace DC1 with M80, DC2 with M07, and DC3 with M26.

DCS is great; I used to use it all the time until the local stores stopped carrying the Step 2 polish. Apparently, nobody was buying it, so the stores discontinued carrying it.

It's no worries for me, though, because by that time I was using #2 and NXT, in combo with claying the car. And since I just found a PBE store that carries gallon sized bottles of the Professional line (or can order it for me when I need it), I'll just go to the PBE store.

However, if it's what you can locate to use, it's great for consumer use. It'll give you a great polish & shine, especially if you're trying to do everything by hand.

I think you should stick with your DA, maybe you could try using products in the professional line like roush stated

The DCS also got me hooked on Meguiars... Its a great, easy to find inexpensive system and bet of all it works! As mentioned above you can replace steps in the system here and there with products from the pro line.

Yes, they are in the red bottles. You can clay prior to using the Deep Crystal System, something like Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit would be an excellent option!

^^^^ nice, im gonna do that this weekend....would it be helpful if i used scratchX after the clay, and before the 3step?

If you dont have swirls to remove, you shouldnt need the ScratchX.

How good is the DC Step 3 Wax?

I am using the Steps 1 & 2 but finishing with the NXT Wax instead.

Its pretty good but i still replace it with NXT Wax 2.0.

I use it by hand but I substitute DC 2 for #7 and am happy with the results. I can imagine how good it would be with a DA.

Correct me if I am wrong. The Mirror Glaze product line is best to be applied with a DA.

I have been using DCS for a few years and was thinking to change to the professional line. I was told that since I applied my products by hand, I should use DCS....
