I am desperate .After of lot of tries to remove all the swirls,haze marring etc and give the shine back to my car,after applying the sealants glazes wax etc to protect it and give to it more shine,today after washing it some swirls are back again .This Honda paint is not very soft but EXTREMELY SOFT and the car is black.I used the 2 bucket method and a lampswool wash mitt,microfiber towel for drying and after the third wash(that it was today,i finished the detail about 3 weeks ago) some swirls are back.Is there something that i can use to remove them or at least hide them(because i will remove the clear coat if i polish it every 3 weeks),without removing the sealant?(it took me 3 days for a complete application,1 coat every 12 hours).I will do anything to remove them even polish it every week if there was no possibility to remove the clear coat.All possible solutions are welcome....

I removed them but are back again.The problem is that i can remove them but i can't keep them away.The problem of polishing every month is that the clear coat will say Bye Bye my darling sometime so i am looking for something to use it after every wash just to hide them until polish it again (once every 6 months ).I don't know how safe is to polish it once a month with DA polisher and a very fine polish.

umm are you sure your not tring to remove bad swirl marks below the clear coat. it has happened before. also check your pads you have. you might have picked up something inside them. then go through you entire wash and dry steps and check what you are using. you have to be putting them back on if you do not have them under the clear coat. clear coat is going to follow the surface. if you have a scratch inbetween paint and clear. it could also be a very deep scratch as well

I'd take a real hard look at your wash method and the towels you use on the car. If you remove most all swirls, then they come back, odds are you're inducing more.

So... what do you do?

Could I suggest you try to find the cause/root of your problem. Try re-do just a small section first, make sure it's as perfect as you want it. Have that section 'printed' in your memory and compare/check it before and after you wash your car. If the swirls are back after a wash then I think you should check your washing and drying materials (including the water you used), products and techniques. If not, chances are they were there before or 'hiding' from you and came out after a few washes, i.e. you haven't really remove all of them but 'fills' them with one of the steps that you've done.

Just my humble opinion.

are you using enough soap....are you using good soap(cheap brands may not do a good job at lubrication)..... are your mitts and towels clean and never touch the ground...... did you spray off most of the dirt before you wash the car......

usually minor swirls will appear after 4 or 5 washes because that is just normal..... swirls are inevitable because thats just how things are..... but since you are using proper car wash methods.... the swirls are very light and can easily be taken care of by one or 2 passes with 80.....

you can always try foam to wash your car to minimize the amount of dirt that is needed to wash off with the wash mitt

theres also a posibility that you did not remove all the swirls the last time you detailed but they were filled in with the polish and wax but after you wash the car the fillers are gone and the swirls are visible again.....

I am far from being an expert here, but I must agree with this comment. I work by hand on a car with a few swirls. When I polish and wax the car looks great but I know I have not removed the swirls... only masked them temporarily.

Did you work by hand or by machine when you originally thought you had gotten rid of them? I greatly suspect, if working by hand and only using polish and wax, that you did not remove ANY swirling.

Removing them and masking them are two different things... though they may look the same initially.

As for how to remove them permanently.... someone more experienced than me will have to chime in. I just polish and wax by hand and mask my small imperfections temporarily.

I always rinse the car with pressure water twice.I am using the 2 bucket method,Meguiars Gold Class shampoo(always plenty of it) and a lampswool wash mitt(rinse it before starting and before put it again in the shampoo for the next part , i rinse the car without pressure to avoid the water spots and i am using a Blue Pearl microfiber towel for drying.

anyways.... i am thinking it is the fillers in watever you are using for cleaner that was hiding stubborn swirls.....

to hid them.... just use any polish or cleaner wax will be very effective...especially color X..... put another coat of wax on top if you are using polish so that it wont wear off as fast....

I agree with you but the black is great.I am thinking of get it to a professional to apply fresh and harder clear coat.I am also thinking of using the new self-repaired clear coat the Nissan develop but it will cost to me about $4000 and i don't have that money at the moment .They said that for 3 years can be self repaired and will need polish after the 3 years are gone.

It is not affected i think,just the durability of this ability is 3 years.After then it just loosing this ability and it transformed in a usual clear coat.
