ok, had the DA for a lil over a year, still havent had the opportunity to really have a decent amount of time with it. I have experiemented with it and read about all the proper ways to get the most out of it on MOL. Had a backing plate problem over the summer right after working #83, so was left with marring all over the car. Now that the weather is getting nicer, i was able to work on the roof and the trunklid/spoiler ( I am S L O W, took like 3 hours). They turned out pretty nice. I used #83x2, #80x2, and finished it off with #21x2. There was however a pretty decent size scratch on my trunk lid, probably from removing ice : / Anyway, #83 helped a bit, but I found that one application of ScratchX and really rubbing the heck out of it, go it out in about 30 seconds.
So, is ScratchX stronger due to the fact you can really put the "passion" into it? guess i am just trying to justify the buffer on a performance basis. I realize it speeds up the process, and saves my arm, but, scratchX and major passion seems to yeild some nice results.
Thoughts?
