I really have my doubts about that sotry. I can't imagine how wood chips would be present in a textile factory.

    HOWEVER...

What may have been found and mistaken for wood was pieces of cardboard boxes. China and Korea have some of the worst, cheapest cardboard on the planet and if the Chinese maker ships the towels in these cheaper carboard it's very conceivable that small "chips" break off and imped themselves in the fibers. Thhe color would be the same as wood so it's easily mistaken by someone who isn't inspecting it very carfeully.

      i don't take any chances.

only quality MF's for the finish and low end MFs for underbody.

its not worth the risk after you've worked so hard to pay the car and keep it clean.

I wouldn't trust any new MF's on paint without washing them first. They're not always made or stored in the cleanest of environments, nor are they handled by the cleanest of hands, or transported by the cleanest of methods, etc. It's not uncommon for new MF towels to have abrasives in them.

Always wash your MF's first before using them.
