cheetah, did you apply your products by hand or machine? if you don't own a G100/PC... invest in one, you won't regret it and your hands & arms will thank you later...

that was a bad thing to do. you bought a new car and sad that you detailed the old

        Nice job and nice car
Detailing cars is a form of art. Most appreciate it, few possess the required skill and even fewer understand it.

Awsome photos! They could be used in an advertisement. Topping it with #26 might produce yet a third color that is even deeper.

Re: BMW 325 - ColorX, NXT

I did all the work by hand. I'm trying to decide whether to get a G100 or a Cyclo. I hear the cyclo is quieter so that's a plus. Not sure yet though.

I only did one coat of NXT. I will add another coat probably tomorrow to ensure coverage as they say. Then I will just enjoy the car for maybe 2 or 3 weeks and then try topping it with 26 just to see what the effect is. I've never used a carnauba wax so that should be fun. I'll post update pics if anyone is interested.

My wife has been driving an 89 mercedes for a year now. We got it real
cheap from a relative that owns a used car shop. It was really, really dirty.
The rims were totally covered with black stuff. The headlights were yellow.
There was some gummy stuff on the paint in a few area. The black trim had all turned grey. The chrome had lots of corrosion and stains. It looked horrible. The car only has 50000 miles which is great for an '89 and there are no scratches. We spent 6 hours detailing it today with all Meg's products. Oh my god!!! It looks good now!! Amazing! I had planned on taking before pics but I woke up late and she had already washed the car so it kinda lost the effect. Anyway, chrome is beautiful now, trim is black,
plastX took care of the headlights and the paint looks great. Real wet. It's a dark blue and the reflections look like some of the awesome pics I've seen on this site. She's really happy and people are actually stopping to take a second look at it as they walk their dog's etc.. It looks like a new car. I'm really enjoying this detailing. My other hobbies are getting neglected.

            Later.

Re: BMW 325 - ColorX, NXT

We won't be at the house for a couple of days so I will post some pics of
the Mercedes when we get back. It will have lost a little luster I guess by then so I'll put on the 2nd coat of NXT first. I'll try to find some before pics that I took a month ago. Not sure if I can find them though.
