I don't know if anyone will remember my previous post about alternatives to a G100 or PC, but I have made a decision on what I am going to get. I had been looking at a cheap orbital polisher, but after reading more on the forum and from the replys to my post I have decided to go with the G100. I was finally able to sell an extra set of wheels and tires for a truck I traded a year ago, so I now have enough money for a G100. Now my next question, what else should I get? I am looking at getting the Package 1 from ADS, which comes with a G100, backing plate, and W8006 pad. I will be using it on an '02 Grand Caravan, dark blue with mild swirls, and an '04 Malibu, light green with few noticeable swirls. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Re: Decided to get G100...now what else?
Well ,the standard products would be #80 and #21. Maybe a small bottle of #83 or #7.
Not sure what money you have, but getting a box of 6 pads, 1 7006, 2 8006, and 3 9006 pads, and a pack or two of bonnets would be a great start for you. Getting the 6 pads is the cheaper way to do it, so see if you can swing it.
Here is another link to help you out.

Re: Decided to get G100...now what else?
Thanks for the input guys. This is what I think I will be ordering.
-ADS G100 Package #1
-1 8006 pad (the above package also comes with one)
-1 9006 pad
-1 7006 pad
-#80 Speed Glaze
-Smooth Surface Clay kit
-#21 Synthetic Sealant? (trying to decide on LSP yet, leaning towards #21)
-Microfiber bonnet (ADS's website says discontinued?)
My wife's dark blue '02 Grand Caravan will be my first project (victim?). My plan is to first wash, then clay, then go over it with #80 using the G100 using 8006 pad, then apply LSP (#21?) with G100 using 9006 pad and removing it with 7006 pad and microfiber bonnet.
How does this all sound?

Re: Decided to get G100...now what else?
You might have to get a bottle of #83 just in case that your car has hard paint type or trying to smooth out some medium scratches. So far, I have really good result on my Black car with #83->#80->#7->TechWax."Huu duyen thien ly nang tuong ngo,

not realated to the G100 but get yourself a good stool. A Caravan has a large surface area so a rolling stool is your best friend!Patrick Yu

Re: Decided to get G100...now what else?
The #83 was a victim of my budget. I was on a pretty tight budget for this purchase. Basically, the only reason I was able to get a G100 at this time was that I finally sold an extra set of wheels and tires from a truck I had and I am using that money for this purchase. As for the stool, it does help a lot, I used one last time I waxed the van and it helped a lot. The size of the van is what started me down the road of getting a G100. The last time I waxed the van I did it all by hand (wash, Cleaner Wax, Gold Class) in one day, and I thought my arms were going to fall off when I got done.
