I am going to guess that you used M02, not ScratchX judging by the bottle and the avalabilty of products in Alberta.

I can now get almost all the Meg's product through a supplier in BC.

      I basicly did this:
      Washed the car.
Filled all the keyed areas with a color matched paint.
Wet sanded with a 1500 grit then 2000 grit paper. Mainly just to break down the filled in areas.
Poilish entire car with M02, then scratch-x using a rotory buffer and yellow foam pad,
going over some areas with M80 to remove the sanding marks.

Then Tech-Wax by hand. It worked for me.

Finally got a G100. Hope to use it soon!

I know it wont look exactly right but this is a vehicle that I`m considering starting a mobile business with and I just need to make the parts where it goes all the way down to either metal or primer less obvious. They show white or metal and even a different shade of black wouldn`t show as much as that does. Any tips or ideas on how to get the touch up paint applied evenly? I`ve read somewhere that using a toothpick with very small amounts at a time works well but they were talking about a tiny rock chip not a 6ft scratch. I don`t have much money or supplies but plenty of time.
You may not have to spend a dime on repairing the scratch. Your car insurace may cover it if you have comprehensive coverage.

Comprehensive would have been too expensive. I`m 16 and they tacked on an extra $100 because my truck was 4 wheel drive. It`s ridiculous for a 20 year old 4 cyclinder to be charged that but we couldn`t find a better deal. So I just have the minimum coverage.
