Hello All,
I've already read some posts about plastic trim etc. but none of the topics that I could find addressed my question directly.
I've got a new truck and my front bumper has a section of painted plastic/composite. I've attached a photo which I've lightened up alot because the truck is black. Under the labelled section the rest of the bumper is painted metal and then underthat is a section of textured pastic.
This plastic section has more elongated swirl/light scratch marks than I care for and I know I can somehow get them out. (from washes and wipes at the dealers). Once again I summon the vast knowledge of the more experience detailers out there,,,more experienced than me that is.
I have meguiars 80, 82, 83 ,,,,,but I read instances of losing gloss, burning the paint/plastic,,,,so I'm not gonna experiment here without someone to "hold my hand".
Once again, Many thanks in advance!
Mark
