To start off I know I posted this in the Detailing101 forum because it wasn't an extreme makeover. It was just restoring the plastic trim and I thought it'll help people that have the same problem I did.
I used M39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner, M38 Tire and Trim Dressing Gel (which is now my favorite dressing for exterior plastic btw), and the triple duty detail brush.
These are photos just to show how well these products worked in restoring the black plastic trim.
Here's pictures of the trim after M39:
Faded bed rails (it helped but didn't fix how bad they were) For the bed rails I'll need a dye or have to replace them.
Here's the hood vents after M39 which make them look new again.
Here's some pictures of the rear bumper (side by side comparison with M39)

Now keep in mind a dressing wasn't used yet, so the above pictures only show the results after M39.
Now here's some pictures after M38:

Here's a pic of the other side of the rear bumper that had nothing done to it yet:
Here's the other side that had been cleaned with M39 and dressed with M38:
Bed rail looks better but still looks crappy.
Another note is the M38 actually didn't leave an artificial shiny look, idk why some of the pictures make it look that way. The dressing made them look new and was dry to the touch.
