    oh, so applying #7 over colorX , will it adhere properly? or it won't make any difference...?

      You could apply #7 over the ColorX, but it won't last very long unless you put a wax over it, such as Nxt, GC, or, in opinion, #26.

      Applying ColorX to an area that already has #7 would remove the #7, most likely.

        Well, you can add a polish over the ColorX, then add 2 layers of wax back on top of it. But that kind of defeats the entire purpose of using ColorX to shorten your detail. Might as well just use DC#1.
