Well today I took the leap and spent the $16 dollars for NXT liquid wax, so tomorrow I'm considering detailing my truck, and I just want to make sure I have the order right on everything. Sometimes I end up using two products when one would be sufficient, so I figured I would post the products I intend to use in the order I'm hoping to use them and maybe someone can tell me if I have it right this time, lol.
Whole Truck:
NXT Car Wash (Someone gave it to my Dad and he lets me use it
)
Clay where needed
Wash again to get off the QD
Dry
Next I wanted to use:
ScratchX where needed and until my arms get tired
-then on the remainder of the truck-
DC 1 until my arms get tired
-then if there still is some parts of my truck that haven't been gotten with DC 1 or ScratchX-
ColorX (I really need to get a PC lol)
Then over the whole truck I was going to use a coat of NXT Tech Wax.
Of course on the wheels, clean them and then Meg's tire spray.
PlastX on the little bug guard thing on the front and on the visors over the top of the windows (I don't know what they are called!)
On the wheel wells, I was wondering if Simple Green would work? I don't have APC or anything like that.
I just cleaned the engine today at the Coin-op so it looks pretty good, if anything I might use a little QD on the painted parts under the hood since they don't look that great.
Do I have the order right this time? I'm sorry I keep on asking such stupid questions! Thanks in advance for any advice/help!
