That's right I'm skerd!!
I have a few questions. I've never used the PC with DACP on black paint yet. I just picked up a client today that wants the swirls/webs removed. I did ok on a gold metallic Buick this weekend. I removed some rubbing compound swirls pretty easily. The problem is the Buick's color hides defects real well.
Questions:
Will DACP and PC leave a haze (marred appearance) after applied for 30-45 seconds with light pressure at 4.5 speed using polish pad? I know I need to try but I wanted to preplan ahead!
Will #9 2.0 remove said haze if needed?
Should I order some other in between product (like #82, Cust service said #82 is not good with PC) before #81 and NXT finish?
Has anyone had some bad results? If so what did you do to fix?
Any tips or tricks to make work better?
Anything to look out for?
Should I postpone this job until I test on my black explorer?
He also wants me to clay the truck but last time I clayed black it left very fine scratches. Was that something I did wrong? Dirty overused clay??
#9 seems to cover more than fix IMO. Am I wrong??
Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
