Since I couldnt really get the streaks out I did what every person would do, I sold the car. Now I've got a new Red 06 GTO to keep clean. I guess I'll have to change my name to 06GTO.

How about a call/E-Mail to Jaguar and check the specs on the wheel so you are SURE what the finish is made of?

Also, I would try a small area first, then rinse and let dry. Things look different wet than they do dry and if you use something too strong, its negative effect may not show up right away. Do the insides of the wheels have the same finish? If you are real ambitious you can take a look and try your products there first. Is the spare a mini donut or ths same kind of wheel? If it is the same kind of wheel you can look at/experiment with that one.

Just some thoughts to prevent damage. More than once I have done screwed something up thinking ai had found a wonder product. Years ago I thought Forumla 409 was cleaning my leather seats most excellently.
WHen my mom was first married, she polished their first new car with lemon oil--it did such a nice job on the furniture in the house!

Good advise, but for me its to late. The car is sold. Thanks again for the reply.

Sorry--I missed the dates on the posts. I skipped over a red GTO post--I'll go back and see if that is your new ride.

LOL... sounds like a rational decision to me...

Good to know Bill, I'll let the guy know who bought my car. He still needs to pick up my snow tires at some point.
