          Hi:

          Another option that I am considering is the new fiberglass tripod step ladder from Werner. The model no. is FTP6200 series; site is wernerladder.com

          With only three legs you would think that it would be more stable that a standard step ladder. The extra height that a ladder offers is very handy at times; howerver the platform does seem nice also.

          For the money the platform may be the way to go.
