Yeah I know. My favorite wax is Meguiars Nxt Tech Wax. I don't have it in the new packaging, but it doesn't matter it is the stuff inside that counts.
Nxt goes on very easily for me and wipes off easily too.
I am mentioning this because I tried my Turtle Wax ICE Polish (Actually it is Wax though they call it polish). The stuff went on very easily with the included foam pad. IMO, the foam pad is of lower quality than the meguiars yellow foam discs. None the less, it was very easy to apply the stuff to the pad and the car.
The only problem is I had trouble seeing where I applied it; therefore, I probably missed a bunch of spots. Unlike NXT, which is easy to see where it is applied. NExt, I took the included microfiber, which appears to be the same quality as those $3 microfibers sold at Target. I took the stuff off. Again, it was hard to see the stuff on the paint unless you look at the right angle. The stuff took some serrious elbow grease to remove. Nxt comes off easier.
Worse of all, I am sure I left some ICE on my car as I probably missed some spots. When I was done and did a final walk around, I saw there were streaks that needed more elbow grease to remove.
Eventually, I got all the ICE off. IMO, clear wax is not easier to appply and remove. It is much more work becuase you can't see it as easily. Another scary thing is that it is very thin. It is as thin as Rain X origional probably thinner. The stuff resembles water without surface tension. It suds a little too as you apply it. I knew it was supposed to be like that so I just used it.
Overall, it did okay I guess. I give it 3 o ut of 5 stars. I give it 3 because it is clear as promised and it doesn't leave a lot of white stuff behind on trim. I don't know about its protection abillities, but I am going to speculate it has less than Nxt by far. Nxt leaves my car smooth to the t ouch. It leaves my car slippery. This ICE product is a bit more liek grease in that it smears a lot while taking it off. Don't get me wrong, it does wipe off.
I am just saying, stick with Nxt TEch wax or some other wax. The reason is you can very easily avoid trim and plastic with Nxt and see where you apply it. Nxt comes off much easier.
I give nxt 5 out of 5 stars becuase it does everything it promises. I don't like clear wax.
