Hi,
I am new to this site, its awsome.
I have a vintage sowmobile I am restoring and the Aluminum needed help, deep scratches and weld repairs.
I first smoothed the welds and scratches with coarse and fine emery cloth, I then wet sanded everything with 320-600-1000-1500, then used miguiars cleaner #4 and #2, finishing up with a flitz ball and their compound.
This was my first attempt
, it was OK but not perfect.
Question - Did I do it right or is there an easier/better method?
Thanks - Bear
