Three primary projects came in on this Thursday Night:
First up, a 1999 Mercedes CLK with 200,000 miles on the clock that really needed some help. Swirls galore, plus a bunch of stone chips (not much we can do about that here) and an owner who wanted the paint to look shiny again.

Some areas even suffered with what looked like scouring pad scratches. Yikes!!

A half & half shot after using D300 on a microfiber cutting pad.

Another Mercedes in the garage, this time a 2004 SL 500. Swirls are harder to see on this color, but they are definitely there. The owner had gone over the hood previously but felt he might have some technique issues with the microfiber system, so he decided to check out this TNOG and see if we could set him straight.

Yep, he now knows exactly what to do in order to make the whole car look this clear and glossy!

Last, but not least, a Dodge Avenger coupe with similar, persistent swirls to what we saw with the two Mercedes. Unfortunately, this car has been coated with two applications of Opti-Coat, so these swirls are locked under a very durable coating that must be removed first.

Once again, the DA Microfiber System does the trick. In this case, we used the new DMX Xtra Cut disc paired with M100. It took this step up in aggressiveness to get through both the coating and the swirls, but it worked beautifully!
