Our first TNOG of 2013 and we start off with something we don't do much of around here - a motorcycle.
Yikes! What a mess!

Putting the DA Power System to use on this small area that would pose a challenge to a full sized DA buffer.

The initial pass of Ultimate Compound and the burgundy cutting pad. Huge improvement that can only get better with a bit of refinement.

Oh my. This one may not have been done by George Barris, but this BMW 3.0 CSL was affectionately known as the Batmobile nonetheless.

We're told new wheel are on the way to better fill out the wheel arches on this Pantera.

Some paint polishing is in order on the Pantera as well, since this is not appropriate for such a car!

Half and half following an initial pass with the DA Microfiber System. Now we're getting somewhere!

Deeper scratches in an isolated area required a bit of 3000 grit wet sanding to knock down.

A little D300 on a microfiber cutting disc removes the sanding marks, swirls and all the other problems that were letting this paint down.

While we could have just done the two steps of the DAMF System, for this car we wanted a bit more, so we followed the correction with some M205 on a foam polishing pad, then waxed with Ultimate Wax.

A Fiat 500 Abarth with a bit of a chin scuff.

The scuffs were treated to some very light 3000 grit damp sanding and then buffed out. They were really deep though, so we didn't want to go crazy and risk removing too much paint on this urethane bumper cover.

You've got to look pretty hard to see the remnants of the scuff marks, but the owner was more than pleased with this outcome.

Nick takes the DAPS for another spin.
