Our final TNOG of the year, and we brought out some samples of our 2013 New Products to play with. Everyone looked pretty impressed with these new products, especially the effectiveness of the new White Wax and the ease of use of the DA Power System.
We started out with the DA Power System using Ultimate Compound and the burgundy cutting pad....

....then moved to Ultimate Polish with the yellow polishing pad....

....and finally Ultimate Wax with the black finishing pad.

The left side is the untouched paint, full of swirls, the right side is after the three step process. The paint is darker, clearer, brighter, and almost totally swirl free. Is this tool a replacement for a DA? Of course not, but you're still terrified of a DA buffer, or you just can't manage the cost of acquiring one, this is a fantastic upgrade from hand application for defect removal.

Chris seemed to enjoy using it!

But the DA Power System isn't just for paint. With the carpet pad we attacked this badly stained floor matt.

We used our new Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner, which features a trick sprayer that shoots out a narrow stream for spot cleaning when you pull the trigger just half way.....

.....or a wide fan pattern if you pull the trigger fully.

Using the same DA Power System tool but with a special carpet pad, we got to work.

That's a huge improvement for not a lot of work!

Putting the White Wax to the test on a badly neglected hood.

Half and half shows the difference - you can't even see the reflection of the light in the side we didn't work on!

People have asked if they could use the cleaning ability of White Wax on a darker colored car. Well sure you can! Remember, this new White Wax is essentially a cleaner wax that uses SMAT abrasives, so it's got a lot of cleaning power. Here's a before shot of some swirled blue paint.

One application of White Wax and the swirls are almost completely gone. No, it's not a substitute for a full, dedicated paint cleaner like Ultimate Compound, but for a one step this is a huge result!

So, what about this mess? This is factory paint on a 1996 Mazda Miata, and it's a disaster.

One pass with M101 Foam Cut Compound used with our DA Microfiber Correction System's 5" cutting disc on a G110v2 da buffer and we got this. The deep pitting isn't going to go away, but the difference was night and day.

Taking a crack at M101 on the hood of the Miata.

M101 via G110v2 and.... what's this? M101 on the DA Power System????

Now that is an amazing improvement!!!!
