  • Pictures from Meguiar's Open Garage - August 9th!

On Wednesday nights, starting at 5:00pm and going until around 10:00pm, Meguiar's hosts an Open Garage in which registered members of our Meguiar's Online Discussion Forum can sign-up to bring their own car down and work on it using the complete arsenal of Meguiar's products and tools with experienced and trained experts on hand to help you as well as show you the proper techniques for getting show car results!

Hang tight for some of the action last night!

We had another great group of people come to Meguiar's last night to work on their cars and hang out and talk shop!

Here's a few photos of some of the action...

Sean here, the guy applying some wax to his Mustang, is actually an Intern here at Meguiar's this summer and he's a real hard worker and always polite and helpful to everyone he meets. We'll be sad to see him return to school at the end of this month.

Hey Sean... I think you missed a spot!

Here's another "Shawn", claying the clear coat finish on his wheels to remove some bonded contaminants.

    Everyones busy Meguiarizing their car!

Dale and Dan came down to learn how to clay and use the G100 Dual Action Polisher, so we let them practice on my daughter's Ford Focus! Looking good guys!

Paul aka the other pc brought his wife's 1985 Mazda RX7 over for some cleaning and polishing. His wife bought this Mazda RX7 brand new and it's always been well-maintained and garage kept, it runs really good and has low miles and get this... it's for sale!

    Paul clayed the entire car...

Did some paint cleaning with the G100, you can see it's getting dark on him...

And the finished results reveal an original paint job that looks brand new!

John aka fatchance and Ella brought their totally tricked out Chrysler 300's to Meguiar's. John's is sporting some new wheels and we removed some more scratches out of Ella's bad ride.

Dave aka Newport Viper brought is Golf Club Holder to Meguiar's to try out our new M21 Synthetic Sealant. Dave's Gold Club Holder looks a lot like a Viper!

This is always a good time! You might find me asleep in my car in the lot just for kicks one day because I love hanging out there, lol.
Clean rides are always so exciting!
One day, I'll be a rotary buffer master, watch out everyone!
Newport Viper, as my summer winds down in SoCal, it looks like I'll be seeing you and Robert at Crystal Cove.

          Ha ha. College girl.

See you and John Saturday. Get there early, our club will take a lot of spots!

Thanks again Mike P, for the fun night!

I had my own open Garage the next night!

          Each one, teach one!

This is Murray and his Awesome 1970 502 Chevelle!

He will be at CC Saturday.

Looked like someone took a broom to it, to clean the car!

          Not anymore!

If you keep your car looking as good as it does now you’ll never get a chance to practice.

I clayed the wheels then used ScatchX on some of the defects I found. then I waxed them each twice with NXT tech wax. On the tires I used some NXT Insane shine. It took me a while to go through all that work (About 2 hours, with a pizza break) but they look perfect.
You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.
