Thanks again to Mike and Tim for hosting another great class! It was good to meet the many Autopia and MOL members in person! I tell ya, I always seem to learn something new at these classes; it is definitely worth the trip to their headquarters!

I'm glad Barry was able to stop in briefly, the guy certainly epitomizes the Meguiar's passion for cars!

Look forward to attending another, thanks again!

Thank you Mike and Tim for putting on a great class for us Autopians! As always, fun and informative.

And thanks to my fellow Autopians as well. You guys are always fun to hang with online, meeting you face to face and playing with cars together is even better.

And a very special thanks to Barry and Karen Meguiar for providing the opportunity to have the event in the first place and for taking the time to drop in and visit with us and share the passion for cars.

This was really a great experience, and having Barry himself stop in and say "hi" and chat with us for a while was a real treat! He's every bit as affable, friendly and smiling as you see him on Car Crazy! What a guy!

Many, many thanks to Mike, Tim and the Meguiar's organization for putting this program together. I learned exactly what I've been doing wrong with my PC thanks to Mike's help, and today I actually managed to get rid of the swirls in the one month old paint job on our "beater" Camaro! Once you know the correct technique it's just amazing what you can do!! I can't wait to tackle my two "good" cars in the next couple of weeks.

Great class; enthusiastic detailers, wise instructor and an awesome facility! This was my second "Autopia-Meguiars" class and I learned more than last time. . . from not only Mike but my classmates as well. Some of the primer lessons reminded me of some bad habits I have gotten into and the discussions about how to remedy certain issues were very informative.

Great to see a passion shared. Thanks for working on Saturday Mike!

After arriving, Mark Cummins pulled this out of his pocket and set it down in our Training Garage...

Same old stuff here, Great class, learned more the 2nd time around. Nice putting faces to the posters.

Specials thanks to Barry Meguiar for spending a little time with us on his day off and sharing with us his real passion for cars. I'll never forget that. Mike and Tim were at their top of there game as usual.

Thanks to Paul, the "Other PC" for giving an item that really *****, but that's a good thing, so that's not to hard to figure out what the item was. And thanks to all the other Autopians who answered all my stupid or newbie questions.

On a sidenote, after the class, I went to the new car show at the Anaheim Convention Center, and you wouldn't believe how many of the brand new $70,000 to $300,000 cars had swirls in them that with just the simple techiques taught in this class could fix 80 to 90% of them. The worst offenders of course were BMW and Mercedes with "Professional Detailers" working on the cars during the show. The Jags looked pretty good next to these to these two scratched makes. Even one of the four $300,000 plus Lambourginis (excuse the spelling) had some very bad swirl marks . Even Shaqs DUB prepared personal cars in the aftermaket section had some nasty marks.

However, there were a few cars that did have some flawless paint, so it could be done, and some of these had Meguiar sponsor stickers . The older hot rods, which there wasn't many of here, seemed to have the best workmanship and best paint, but I'm not a big fan of rice rocket cars with stickers so I have biased opinion.

If I was a car manufactor like BMW or Mercedes, wouldn't you hire somebody like Mike Phillips or Joe at Superiorshine to showcase your $100,000 cars to the public. Or at least somebody with some talent.

Great Class, Instructors, and I learned alot from everybody.

                              Thanks

                              Doug
