It almost looks like key marks. Or it could be a dog or cat claw mark. They show up real easy on black! Something put it's paw on the paint and then jumped back down. Just a theory.

If Scratch X would get those out, then I am impressed! It would probably take 5 or 6 applications of MPPC by PC to make those less visible.

      hood scratches

The owner of the black Prowler told me someone keyed it at a gas station. When he exited the store after paying for his gas, he saw the guy get into a van, and drive off. Mike repaired it with ScratchX to where it is barely visible.

The truck is not supposed to get from point "A" to point "B", the truck is the point.

I feel the pain, I just don't get people who can do that,I don't know how they sleep at night. This is the only draw back to having a nice and beautifully detailed car, it may provoke someone to key it. When i see a nice car I admire it.

I'm preparing pictures from Saturday's class for uploading as I type, thought I would start with this one of Jim's in Meguiar's Garage while Jim was working on it because the custom hardtop with the custom wheels make this Prowler One ko0L kat!

Here's a shot from the rear...

And a few more to showcase the unique style Jim has created with his modified Prowler...

                    Mike,

Thanks very much for the Prowler Car Care Clinic last weekend.
All of our members enjoyed it.
You really surprised me when I saw just how well you removed those scratches from Jim's and Gordy's cars with the Scratch-X.
I may even eventually forgive you for calling my car "Gross" when you looked at it.
I'm sure glad my car is yellow. It hides a lot of my laziness.
You and Tim were great and Meguiars is a real class act.
Please tell Barry that I sure like his 57 Chevy.
                    Larry

                      detailing class January 22nd

                      Mike,

Just a quick note to let you know how much I enjoyed your detail clinic on Saturday, 1/22. Meguiar"s is certainly a class act!

Your knowledge and professionalism is outstanding. You are certainly an asset to your company and I am sure they appreciate you. Although I've used another brand of wax in the past, I am now convinced that Meguiar's is without a doubt, the best. I never realized, with all of your products available, just how complex the different processes are for what one is trying to achieve. I'm impressed.

                      Thanks again.

                      Jim R.

                        Mike and Tim

Thank you again for the class on the 22nd.

You provided us with the product information and proper techniques we need to make these cars really shine.

                        Thanks again.

I have to tell you, we've seen a lot of clubs go through our class, and each club has it's own personality and so far all of the members of all of the clubs have been absolutely stellar!

That said, during the classroom portion it was very apparent that these folks were the fun club, no doubt about it, these folks are passionate about their cars.

Here's some more pictures from their class at Meguiar's...

This is Ken's Prowler with a brand new Ghost Flame Job... The painters did an awesome job of laying down the flames and then sanding and buffing the finish. While the paint is still fresh and soft, we decided to take these results to an even higher level by re-polishing with some Meguiar's #80 Speed Glaze

                            Nice Flames Ken!

The most common complaint about automotive finishes is Swirls. Here at Meguiar's, we teach people how to avoid instilling swirls in the first place by using good techniques and the correct products.

That said, once your car's finish has unsightly swirls, its not a matter of how to prevent them, but how to remove them. That's the where Meguiar's shines! If you have swirls in your car's finish, we can show you how to prevent them, and remove them.

                              Warning
This is going to hurt your eyes and if your Car Crazy, it's going to make you cringe...

Here's a shot of two passionate Prowler owners using Meguiar's G-100 with some #80 Speed Glaze to remove both the swirls and the water spot etchings.

Stay tuned for the remarkable after results!
